Of course the ocean in summer is fun, but the ocean in autumn is also great! Personally, I think that Irita beach in autumn is the best season of the year. The reason being, first of all, the water temperature remains the same as in summer (currently 28 degrees Celsius, which is too warm! while tranquility returns to the beach in autumn). Restaurants are definitely easier to book, and accommodation rates are generally 30-50% less expensive than in the summer. In Japan, beaches are visited by tourists as soon as the ocean opens on Umi-no-hi (Sea Day), and then they begin to quiet down after August 31st. On the other hand, overseas resorts are crowded as long as the weather stays warm, so accommodation rates and crowds do not change as much in autumn.  So, why not take advantage of this cultural difference! At Irita Beach, on a warm day, you can swim without wet suits until late November (I personally enjoy swimming without wetsuits on warm days even in December!). So, why don’t you come to Irita Beach and enjoy the serenity that has returned!  Also, you will save a lot more budget in fall than in summer staying at any hotels around!
